If you still within the free update period , and you open your DS 708 PC suite with the SD card in the USB card reader , sign in and check for available updates and if you don't see VW updates are available , you might want to save the old SD card for back up , install a new SD card into your DS 708 , then turn off DS708 , remove the new SD card , put the new SD card in the USB card reader, plug into USB port and open the DS708 software suite and sign in. Download the latest system software and then check the list of car make updates to see if it is on list to download. I believe end of this month before everything shut down for DS708 software for good.
